The team behind Mr Cropper Limited have successfully designed and developed a range of pile croppers based on their extensive knowledge of the piling industry. All of the pile croppers have been developed in house and are patented or have patents pending. Mr Cropper Limited were the main supplier of pile croppers for the 2012 Olympic sites in London and have also successfully traded with the United Arab Emirates and more recently Australia. There are a wide range of pile croppers available that are capable of cutting down varying lengths, sizes and types of concrete pile which are used in a wide range of ground conditions.

With the piles having been successfully positioned into the ground the 'croppers' or 'breakers' as they are often referred to are used to break down the concrete piles to the required height therefore providing the initial part of a buildings foundation i.e. projects such as domestic housing or commercial buildings. The pile croppers are delivered to site by trained Mr Cropper fitters and are connected to the Hydraulic system of an excavator. After an onsite demonstration the equipment is ready for use. The excavator is used to position the cropper over the pile, enabling the hydraulically operated blades to break the concrete pile at the desired height.
